Meet Co-ordinator: John Tayler Mid-April saw a return trip to the Peak District for 16 keen GMC folk. Colin, Andy, Josh were first to arrive, quickly discovering that the staff very keen on the rules, and why have rules if you weren't to stick to them? They found themselves in the lounge with a pint, wondering when John would arrive to confirm that, yes, they were indeed part of his booking, and not some scallywags trying to hijack a trip! Next to arrive was Andrew and David.

Written by Muny Tony on Tryfan in 2015 Dr Richard Anthony Raphael, 9th December 1945 - 4th April 2026 Tony was an active member of the GMC for over 17 years. After joining he quickly became one of the regulars at the weekday evening climbing sessions and other Club events. Tony was also a skier and a keen walker, both with the GMC and various other groups. Tony collapsed and passed away while walking with a group of old friends and ex-colleagues SW of Ullapool in the Scottis
